Growing Information

• Sow directly outdoors where the carrots are to grow
• Start sowing from around 2 weeks before the last expected frost
• Sow in drills around 2cm deep
• Space rows around 15cm apart
• Cover seeds lightly with around 0.5cm of soil
• Keep soil moist during germination
• Thin seedlings gradually to allow roots to develop
• Germination: 14–21 days
• Best temperature: 12°C+
• Days to maturity: 70–80 days
